So the latest with Google is GooG411.

This is Google's free 411 service. Dial 1-800-GOOG-411 (1-800-466-4411) from any phone, state your location and the type of business you're looking for and Google does the rest, giving you alist of business to choose from and then connecting you for free.

Sure, Google's taking over the world - but they make it so damn convenient.

I've been using this service for about a year now, and it has served me very well. I often can't remember when restuarant hours are, and then I can't remember their number, but we need dinner in the next hour. Google 411. Say, "Babycakes, Poughkeepsie, NY." Google says, "I'll connect you." Pretty sweet.
